SUMMARY:Indian Creek Climbing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual club trip to Indian Creek\, one of the world’s premier crack-climbing destinations! If you haven’t climbed cracks before\, this is a great opportunity to learn and gain experience on some of the best cracks around. \nRoutes start at 5.9\, but there are limited options at the lower grades\, so participants should be comfortable with 5.9-5.10 face climbing. \nLeaders will set up top ropes\, so you don’t need to be a trad leader to participate. I’ll head down Wednesday evening to secure campsites at Creek Pasture Campground. \nLimit: 12 participants

SUMMARY:Dead Horse Ultra (15k\, 30k\, 50k\, 50 mile) Race
DESCRIPTION:Let’s get out and do a race! The Dead Horse Ultras offers multiple distances depending on what fits your goals! This is the second event in the Triple Crown of Moab series. The course goes through beautiful terrain near the Gemini Bridges Area and features some challenging single track and sandy sections of trail. \nWe will go down on Friday evening to camp and be up bright and early for the race on Saturday. On Sunday\, we will either do a short run or hike before going home in the early afternoon. \nPlease let me know if you are interested and we can plan to head down there together!

SUMMARY:Reynolds Peak (& Tom’s Hill)\, BCC
DESCRIPTION:We plan to bag Reynolds Peak in BCC\, weather\, conditions and situation permitting. We may also go to Tom’s Hill. If we do Reynolds Peak only and out and back\, the distance will be 6.6 miles RT with 2103 feet gain. Going to Tom’s Hill and making a loop add slight distance but not a lot. Please bring 10 Essentials as well as micro-spikes. If there is lots of snow\, we may also need to use snowshoes. Avalanche rescue gear (beacon\, probe & shovel) is recommended but not required. I have an extra set of avalanche safety gear – if you want to use it\, please let me know. Please email before Friday\, 6 pm\, November 13\, for the meeting place and time. Registration is required. Registration priority will be given to WMC members. Registrants will receive more detailed info. Limit 8.
